0:14.1	Today I'm excited to introduce John Burke who wants to help us find our purpose and our dream.
0:20.5	So, John, tell us a little about yourself and why today's topic is so important to you.

0:36.3	So I'm a solution consultant and I work with several businesses, different sizes and some educational institutions and help them determine, you know, IT strategy, their security posture, and then with some solution architecture
0:56.5	as well for large projects.

1:00.0	Tell me a little more about that security posture.
1:02.6	And what do you mean by that?
1:04.6	Yeah.
1:04.9	So cybersecurity as a whole, a lot of organizations are still kind of in that mindset like hey we we haven't been hit before
1:14.8	it's not that big a risk and a lot of times they've got their insurance provider kind of
1:22.1	screaming down their their throw like hey we got to shore up some of these cybersecurity things within the
1:31.6	organization.
1:33.2	And a lot of organizations just haven't put that much focus on it yet.
1:38.6	You know, I ran into a lot of that.
1:40.3	In my 10 years, the CIO, the CFO did not want to open up the budget towards
1:46.2	security until you know until an incident happening if if we're not suffering from it why why pay for it
1:53.8	and and we didn't yeah i can't even go into some of the details on that because i don't want to
1:58.8	expose things that I shouldn't.
