Good morning my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset edition of the

Liberal Change Podcast. Are you ready for a great day? It is a great day. It really is.

I know that people who are listening to this could very well

be in the midst of the hardest circumstances of their lives. I know that could be

the case. But I'm bold enough to say, I'm audacious enough to say, that it's

a great day because our God is alive. And I don't mean to sound like some televangelist or something like that when I say that, but it's the reality that we need to get our minds wrapped around every morning.

Our God is alive, and he is for us. He is with us. He is powerful on our behalf. And we're

wrapping up today a look into the life of Moses. There's much more we could look at in his life, but we're

going to stop in Exodus chapter 15 and move on to some other things in future episodes. But in

Exodus 15, we find these songs that Moses and Miriam, his sister, sing after God has delivered them.

And I just want to read these songs because they are powerful.

They're ways that we see Moses and Miriam and the people of Israel

celebrating who their God is and celebrating his victory on their

behalf.

And we have that boldness, we have that ability to do the same kind of celebrating because God has been victor for us over

our sin through Christ, through the cross of Christ and the resurrection and we have every

reason to celebrate every single day of our lives.

Circumstances cannot deter what God has determined for us, what God has done for us in Christ. And so I want to read Exodus 15, read these songs.

It says Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord. I will sing to the Lord,

for he is highly exalted both horse and rider he has hurled into the sea

The Lord is my strength and my defense. He has my salvation he is my God and I will

praise him do you hear the willfulness in that my father's God and I will
