There's some really good competition going on out there.

It's going to be very important this training camp because of the lost time to structure these practices well, all those things.

I think John's done an excellent job of that.

Calais Campbell is pumping him up every chance that he gets, challenging him, mentoring him, teaching him,

and Matabike seems to just be a sponge, soaking all that up.

We're about a week and a half into padded training camp practices. That means we've got a lot of thoughts.

You know, we're two opinionated guys.

So we're going to give you our takeaways from camp so far.

Yeah, the thing is, one of us has good opinions and one of us has bad opinions.

Yeah, we talked about a little bit last week, but it's just been fun to watch football on the field.

And that's just been a very welcomed sight of seeing these guys out there get after it.

And I mean, I think that everyone came

into training camp feeling optimistic about what this team could be and all that. And I don't

think that's changed at all. I think there's still super high expectations of what I've seen.
