0:55.8 | before. Do less. Simplify your life. Stop being so busy. This can potentially be great advice, |
1:04.1 | but it isn't always realistic. Sometimes modern life is busy. Many of us are juggling work or study commitments, meaningful relationships, fun hobbies, looking after our physical health, keeping our homes tidy and doing thoughtful things for other people. Being busy isn't always a choice. It can be what happens when we value a variety of different things that all require some effort and time. |

1:38.3 | There's busy, overwhelmed, rushed, distracted, stressed out and drained. |
1:46.8 | And then there's busy, productive, distracted, stressed out and drained. And then there's busy, productive, |
1:55.5 | empowered, present, supported and balanced. For example, I used to feel busy and rarely in a positive way. I felt like I was rushing to keep up with everything. I woke up in the mornings feeling worried about the day ahead |
2:03.3 | because my to-do list was long and filled with tasks I didn't particularly enjoy. |
2:09.3 | A cloud of stress and anxiety hung over my days |
2:12.3 | and I rarely felt like I got to slow down and actually enjoy my life. |

2:20.0 | is relatively busy, but I use self-care and mindfulness to create more balance. I'm productive |
2:27.7 | rather than overwhelmed. I ask for help when I need to. My days are full, but they include restful activities that help me recharge. |
2:38.8 | Sometimes it's okay to be busy, as long as you're taking good care of yourself and cultivating a balance that feels right for you. |
