0:05.4	She got her bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in psychology from
0:09.8	Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2009 and her master's degree in 2011 at
0:16.2	SIUC as well. She's worked in skilled nursing outpatient setting for all 11 years in the profession. She also works part time in the
0:25.2	early intervention setting and PRN acute care. She is trained in MDTP,
0:29.8	myofacial release, and other manual techniques in dysphagia, ampe care, and fort.
0:35.0	She currently serves on the program advisory board and guest lectures at SIUC.
0:40.3	Outside of being an SLP, she loves to run and leads a local running club for young girls.
0:45.2	She was a sprinter-herdler on the track team while at SIUC and also finds joy in singing and leading worship.
0:51.6	Jenny also writes, I'm just a regular SLP.
0:54.8	I'm not a researcher, I'm not a professor,
0:57.3	I haven't developed a written anything,
0:59.1	but I just love being an SLP.
1:01.2	I love helping people, I love connecting to people people and I want to make sure that I not only know how to treat their medical problem but that I also know how to make them feel seen, heard, understood and accepted. I just love Jenny for this.
