Today I interviewed Dakota Lin-Werm.

Dakota grew up in Minnesota, went to Northern State in South Dakota.

Now runs professionally from Minnesota Distance Elite and is getting ready to run the 2021 Boston Marathon. In this episode, we talk about her getting into the sports, being a hockey goalie

and finding her way into running. We also talk about Hugh Jackman, yes, Hugh Jackman. We talk

about training, coaching, finding her sweet spot in the marathon, and her goals for upcoming

marathons and maybe even ultramarathons. So let's get after it.

All right, Dakota, I am so pumped for my listeners to hear from you. I know you pretty well

from being here in Minnesota, but I think a lot of people

are seeing these awesome results from you. So we need to hear it from the lady herself. So thanks for

coming on the show. Yeah. Thank you so much for having me, Carrie. So you have just been like

getting after it like crazy the last few years. Yeah. Yep. Definitely came out of college and jumped into the marathon and haven't looked

back. Yeah, the marathon really seems to, well, not only be your distance, but like fit your

personality. Yeah, I would say. So, I mean, I obviously enjoy running other races, you know,

mostly because I don't hurt quite as badly.

But I think the marathon is definitely my favorite.
