For some reason, I can't quite pin it down, but there's this idea that online in particular, or in general, like gentleness equals passiveness.

It's not manly to be gentle or something.

It's not manly to respond with gentleness when somebody's being awful.

And yet, in Galatians, for instance, talking about what's in Titus, he says, slander no one,

be peaceable and considerate, always be gentle toward everyone, always, everyone.

So you can say the thing.

It's not about not saying the thing. It's not about like, well, I just won't say the truth. No, you can do it. It's how you do it. It's the timing. You're saying it with the best for the person that you're talking to. This gentleness thing is not for lightweights. I don't know if this, how big of a thing this is, but I certainly encounter it.

And I don't seek it out online. The number of pastors, they're called pastors, they're in pastoral

positions, they're church people, and they have an online following. And they're so trying to be masculine.

They're so trying.

Yes.

Are you going to encounter this?

Yes.

I've seen it.

Oh, it just.

Whatever that definition is.

Oh, it's so sad.
