In this episode of the Preacher Boys Podcast, I discuss a case of alleged financial abuse in the Independent Fundamental Baptist movement involving Pastor Ken Shaver.
Shaver, the 62-year-old pastor of Greater Vision Baptist Church in Utica, was charged with theft by unlawfully taking over $10,000 but under $1 million, which is a class C felony. The charge is punishable by between five and 10 years in prison.
I spoke speak to an anonymous insider who was formerly close to the ministry for more details on the case.
