week in the stories of the Bible. As we continue to walk through the days of Holy

week we come to the day that Jesus and his disciples began to prepare for the Passover meal.

Now you might want to go back and listen to episode 20 because episode 20 is where we learned

about the Passover in Exodus when God passed over the homes of the Israelites who had placed

the blood of a pure spotless lamb on their

doorposts. The blood on the outside of their doors kept them from experiencing the final

plague upon the Egyptians. When God saw the blood on their doorpost, he passed over their homes and they were spared.

This is why it is called Passover.
