our listeners to help us create the next Car Talk T-shirt.

It was all four years ago, I think. And we got literally thousands of suggestions. It was unbelievable. And we were so overwhelmed with the response that we got that we did what?

Nothing.

A long time.

But we did pile them up in the office.

That's what most people do when they're overwhelmed.

They just do nothing.

In fact, the other day, my son was in the office and he said something about,

gee, you guys ought to throw out the trash.

It finally occurred to us that we're such Yahoo's that we couldn't possibly make an artistic decision as important as what the next car talk t-shirt should look like.

After all, I mean, 10 or 15 people are going to be wearing this next fall.
