It's true. We have a lot of filters in life. You ever think about all the filters around you?

The air filter right over you? Water filter. Coffee filter. Yep. Spam filters. You know what your most

important filter is without question? I mean, I've thought about it this way. But the most important

filter for your life is your

attention.

Just like the other filters, water filter that lets the contaminants in, you're in trouble.

But your attention is everything. It's your inner life. It's what you're drawing on. It's good stuff or bad stuff.

The bad stuff will choke the life out of you.

Here's a real danger if you want to slam somebody on social media.

What is it?

Well, if I gossip about somebody in real life, I can make amends.

I can apologize to the person.

I can say what I said.

I can go to the people I talk to and apologize.

If I do it on social media, how am I going to reverse everybody who's read whatever

I just said?

I just biased people against this other person.
