Thirty years ago Scotty Thurman made the shot that sealed Arkansas basketball its National Championship. Thurman was a prolific high school and college basketball player. He was a freshman All-American, a 1,000-point scorer, and a 40-plus percent 3-point shooter. Despite his accolades and departing Arkansas a year early, he never played a game in the NBA.
