0:29.4	objections to Christianity and I am very excited about this. I haven't had the chance to read
0:34.2	the book myself yet but I know Bobby really well and I've talked with him on the
0:37.6	podcast before at length about his story of growing up not in the Christian
0:42.0	world at all and becoming a Christian
0:45.0	through the Ministry of Greg Glory, becoming a pastor, but then going through
0:48.0	some really significant doubt. And so he writes about that.
0:52.0	This is sort of his autobiography, an intellectual
0:56.1	autobiography I think is what he called it. But we talked through a little bit
0:59.1	about his story. We talked through a lot of the things that we're seeing in church culture right now, like a lot of the scandals, the moral failings, the hypocrisy.
1:08.0	We talked a bit about the rise of the nuns, which are people who don't identify with any particular
1:14.4	spiritual identity but yet still kind of hold some kind of vague
1:18.9	spirituality and how we can reach that group. I think that Bobby is a pastor who has got a
1:24.8	pastor's heart especially toward people who struggle with doubts and he's got some
1:28.0	great advice for churches and for pastors about how to engage people who are going through doubts and who might even have questions because as Bobby points out in today's episode which is a highlight for me,
1:38.0	there's a difference between a question and a doubt and there's a lot more of an emotional component to a doubt.
