Summary

"For he who holds a hammer, the whole world is a nail." – Abraham Maslow

Beliefs protect us. Beliefs live in our subconscious mind. Beliefs have positive intention.

But at what point do these core beliefs become limiting beliefs and interfere with our goal of a simpler, more peaceful home and life?

In this episode, we dive deep into how our relationship with 'stuff' mirrors our beliefs. Like beliefs, the things we accumulate start with good intentions – comfort, security, memories.

I share a personal story of how I struggled with letting go of certain items, fearing I'd be labeled a "heartless" daughter or a "bad" mom.

These weren't conscious thoughts; they were lurking in my subconscious. That's the tricky part we need to uncover.

This episode will help you identify and change the beliefs that are keeping you stuck in clutter.

Also, when you're ready, here are a few more ways I can help you simplify your life:

when do these beliefs that we all have? They often start with a protective good intention,

happens? So for me, I believe that when the comfort

of these beliefs start either creating clutter or clinging to clutter or the stress or the

dysfunctional living spaces, like these are signs that our beliefs went from good to bad,

or we'll just call them what they are limiting beliefs, right?

these limiting beliefs, that it can become more difficult to step into a healthier, more

when it comes to our thoughts. And we have to work

to rewire those new pathways with more helpful thought patterns. The analogy I always love

using is it's just like you can walk into the woods and you can see two different paths, right?
