It's pretty long.

It was a post by a guy named DeGroate. Shoot, I forgot his first name to Charles. Chuck? Yeah, Chuck. Yeah, yeah. And he's a cool guy. I actually interviewed him. Yes, yeah. He wrote a book called Narcissism in the Church. and I agreed with the problem, but he was asked, like, how can we narcissist proof our church

to keep this from happening?

It keeps happening over and over and over.

All these people go, yeah, it happened to us and this and the other place.

And his takeaway, without me reading, it's a pretty long article, was there's really

not much you can do about it and I just

can't disagree more respectfully I scrolled a long time waiting to say and so

therefore do this yeah but it wasn't there wasn't anything there that he was able to

offer and I think it's because again I say this respectfully disagreeing like he's

not questioning the system.

Like, if you think you have to keep the system, well, yeah, the system's going to keep attracting the people it attracts.

So if the system is something you're like, this is the way you have to do church, well, then that's going to attract those people, isn't it?

But if you can go, this isn't necessarily how we have to do church.

There's a lot of different expressions.

And this may not be the best one, in fact.

Well, I was going to say, if this is the one that keeps producing that

and we don't want to produce that anymore,

then there would be a legitimate conversation that could be had to say, can we stop doing
