Coming up on today's better together

So I do this thing called self-care sabbaticals. So every three months every quarter I take off three to five days

And those three to five days are where I am nothing to no one

So the only time I want to hear my name is if it's followed by what drink would you like?

So so I mean, I'm not mom. I'm not wife. I'm not mentor. I'm not coach

And the reason I do it is be not because I need you know some amazing like yoga retreat meditation

It's because I need silence so I can hear myself

So I can hear like where I need to go because you spend so much of your life putting other people first

You know kind of meeting other expectations hitting their goals and doing what you're obligated to do

That sometimes you lose sight of what is it that you want to do and in those quiet moments

That's where I can really drill down and say you know what?

This was a great out like deciding to do the show. That was a something decided on a self-care sabbatical

I brought the opportunity my family me talked about it. They all said they were on board

And then I took a sabbatical and I said is this something I want to do what does this mean for me if nothing else was a factor

How would I feel and show up in the world does this align with what God has for me and it was and when I returned from that trip
