Welcome back to Curious Me podcast with Mindy and Emily. I am Mindy and I have Emily here

in studio as always. She never goes away. It would be so weird to do one of these by yourself,

wouldn't it? It really would. And you know what? I was thinking about that because like I listen to

people do single episodes. And I think that's why they keep them short, you know, because it's hard to because like I listen to people do yeah single episodes and

I think that's why they keep them short you know because it's hard to when you don't have anybody

to like have a conversation with or banter it's just kind of like I feel like you're almost like

preaching not preaching but you know I mean yeah I feel like when I talk for even like a minute

straight that I'm like wow that was a lot of me talking I know like just straight I know and I've

heard people like actually one of my friends she has a podcast she does mainly solo and I listened to it

the first time she launched it like a year or so ago and uh I was just like I text her I was like okay

like that was a great job like you did it completely on your own. I said and you know, just from us listening to podcasts, consuming them, whatever. I go, doing it solo is a hard thing. You know what I mean? And I was like to be able to carry the conversation to make it like interesting where it's not just you just rambling and rambling, rambling, you're educating, entertain.

Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. It would be terrible. But anyway, and so it is hard. And like, plus it would just be kind of like boring. Like here is how you live lean, but like, I mean, we wouldn't talk like robots per se. I think I would have to pretend like I was talking to somebody. I think so. I think that's kind of like part of the deal because when I do like my coaching calls

with my one-on-one clients, I talk a lot. I mean, they do too, but it's like I feel like I'm just like, but a rule, like a chatter box. Yeah. And when I speak out loud, I don't know what this is just from doing public speaking or what it is. I will try to play devil's advocate with whatever conflict points would be.

And I try to answer those in my head.

So if I said, you know, the sky is blue in a factual manner, I would also already in my head, I'm saying, well, actually it's not technically blue.

It's actually green, but it's because of like, I would try to like carry that whole conversation. I don't know. It's just. Wait, out loud or in your head? No, I do it out loud. Okay. Because that way I'm giving these like, you know, like if I'm talking about my coaching clients, I'm like, well, you need to work on your branding first and build this and da-da.

And then I'm already thinking in my head, they're going to

ask me why. Yeah. So I already answer the question for them if they were going to ask it. I'm like, because you have to be able to build your platform before you're actually able to sell a product because your branding is the push and your marketing is the pull blah blah and i like keep talking
