Today we'll be talking about two recent accidents, both involving fatal encounters with IMC.

In one case, a very low-time pilot had an encounter with IMC that should have been easily avoidable.

In the other case, a relatively experienced pilot put himself in the most demanding of situations

when he took off on an instrument flight plan into low IMC. Both accidents include lessons that all
