And I'm Will Sloan. And this week, we're doing an all holiday. Oh, wait, no, I'm getting a note.

No, it's Christmas only. Nothing else. Just Christmas movies. Specifically,

Hallmark Christmas movies. Yes, folks, it's the annual holiday episode of the important cinema club. It's a beloved ritual on this podcast. In the past, we've talked about such

films as the Tim Allen's Santa Claus trilogy. We've talked about a Christmas story director,

Bob Clark. We've talked about the Passions of Carol director, Sean Costello.

What else could we do holiday themed?

And we finally hit upon something that is hiding in plain sight,

something that for millions of people has in recent years defined the Christmas movie genre.

Yes, that is Hallmark Christmas Movies. And, that is Hallmark Christmas movies. And when we say

Hallmark Christmas movies, there may be some pedants that are coming up and saying, oh, you talked

about one that wasn't actually a Hallmark film? We know. The term Hallmark Christmas film speaks

of an entire genre that every other TV channel that makes these kind of movies

has jumped on.

Although I will say, I think all four movies that I watched this week are Hallmark

Original production.

They were.

The only one that I watched that was it was David Dakota's Santa's summer cabin, summer home.

Yeah, summer house.

Well, that's interesting because a year ago,

I watched Fred Lle and Ray's Christmas in Vermont starring Chevy Chase. And that was the movie
