This is Henry Lopez. And this is a re-release episode of an episode on the topic of personal

sacrifice that I originally released back in 2019. I've cleaned it up a little bit,

and I'm going to share with you here a summary of what I cover in this short episode, but all of it,

I believe, is still very relevant, which is about what do we have to personally be willing to

sacrifice to start our first business, or if we've started our first business to grow it to that

next level. Because sacrifices, personal sacrifices, I believe very strongly based on my experience

and what I've observed with my coaching clients is part of what it takes to be successful in

business. And so on this episode, I'll share my definition of sacrifice in the context of starting

and growing a small business. And then chat about our willingness, are we willing to sacrifice,

make those key sacrifices? That's the key question. What are you willing to sacrifice to get

your small business launched or to grow your existing small business. Then I'll share some

examples. I've got a great book recommendation as well that I'll mention in this episode. And of

howab business.com. One of the key areas of sacrifice that I touch on on this episode is your

personal situation, your personal finances, to put you in a position

to be able to successfully launch and grow your business. And then I give you a challenge that I

really want you to think about doing to help you with identifying what are those sacrifices

that if you're willing to make, will free up the time, will allow you to give you the bandwidth

to stay focused and put in
