It's basically taking a baseball of a sort of a sluggers approach to cricket.

Because cricket normally you play with a straight bat.

I used to play softball and I used to hit loads of home runs

over first base.

And everyone said, how do you hit that?

Because I thought of it as trying. first base. And everyone said, how do you hit that?

Because I thought of it as trying to hit a cricket ball, which you have your elbow up in the air for your

cricket ball and the bat is vertical to the ground, the exact opposite of baseball.
