You should get Allegra on the podcast. She really has an interesting story. So I was like, love to. So where do we start? So I want to start like, why don't you

1:02.3	difficult on me. Well, I'm a writer. I'm an editor. I don't like calling myself a teacher. I've been
1:09.6	trying to come up with a word and I've landed on Inspirer.
1:14.1	I do lead writing workshops.
1:16.5	I've published a memoir and a novel and a couple of guidebooks for writers.
1:20.7	And most recently, a book which I co-wrote with my creative collaborator of over 20 years, James Navay. It's called Write What
1:28.5	You Don't Know, 10 Steps to Writing with Confidence, Energy, and Flow. And it's also a teachable,
1:35.6	you know, online self-paced course. So, you know, do I teach? Well, I'm on teachable, but I kind of
1:42.8	feel like I'd rather be on Inspirable. Because when you teach writing, you know, I'm on teachable, but I kind of feel like I'd rather be on inspirational.
1:44.9	Because when you teach writing, you know, I feel like I can't teach anybody how to write.
1:50.3	But what I can show people or inspire people is in how to allow their imagination to play, how to be creative, how to surprise yourself with the words
2:06.5	that you put on the page, and how to find a practice. I mean, it may lead to publication of one
2:13.7	kind or another, whether it's a book or a blog or a podcast or, you know, little pieces,
2:19.8	who knows what it is, or maybe you just write as a practice for your own creative satisfaction.
2:24.9	But I think I have found it to be a practice that basically sort of nourishes your spirit and
