Hello, podcast, friends. Just another reminder that Brandt is writing his book and so or finishing up his book.

And so we're not live in the studio right now.

But we did catch up with each other remotely on a software we use for recording videos.

And so you'll hear some of that material.

It'll sound a little different than the best of material from the show that is also on this podcast.

We're going to start off with us finishing up a discussion we had on yesterday's podcast about trusting God and me wanting to be able to give that information more to what I would call kids.

They're grown adults with whole families and lives and jobs and companies and all of that,

but I still call them kids.

The kids that I had in my youth group who are still very much a part of my life and me talking about wanting to talk to

them about trusting God and about the currency of this culture and what we've bought into.

So this is like this was like a long ranging discussion we had about trusting in God and I kind of

cut it up. So this is where we jump in now as me

kind of musing about how to talk to the kids about, yeah, what are you striving for?

And just been trying to flesh it out, just drop little gems for all of them of, what are you striving for?

Do you know what that is?

You better be sure because you're spending a lot of energy.

Are you sure that whatever, are you sure, number one, what it is?

And number two, are you sure that when you get it, it'll satisfy?

Because if not, that's a question I think you need to sit down and I think that you need to

ask yourself and not get up until you get an answer because life is fleeting.
