But for a lot of them, I remember when I was at this point, you know, I was just used to taking my student loans and using that to pay for my housing, using that the refund to pay for my car payment, to eat and so forth. But now for the first time ever, when I became a resident, I'm sure you all in some form of fashion understand, you get this new money, right? Whether it's 40K or up to 60K or what have you.

Sure. So first things first, I would say, even though handling personal finance may seem scary and more stressful and adding to the stress, if residents can just put a little time and effort into it

up front, it's going to be really actually de-stressing and a more like empowering process because then it's going to help

make a lot of things easier. So like living within means. So you get your first check. What are

certain things? So first things first is look at the student loans and see what's going on. What are the

interest rates? Can you, you know, apply for the public service loan forgiveness? Make sure that you
