I think we've all grown tired of being told what we have to conclude by people and entities and often special interests who can't possibly

know what the right thing is maybe early on in a controversy or maybe on matters

of opinion and debate and yet they claim this particular viewpoint is

correct they may falsely say something else has been debunked even when it

hasn't and frequently they simply decide not to present at all information that goes

against what they want you to think or conclude. I've discussed in the past and

written about how I saw this trend began to happen when I was working as an investigative correspondent at CBS News in the better old days.

It used to be that we would present various viewpoints.

Yes, there was always an element of what some would call shaping or maybe even censorship

because we on the news decide which stories to give time to,

which stories not to, particularly in the era before there was the internet and
