Summary
Beginning in the 1980s, the citizens of North Pond in Maine were haunted by a mysterious intruder. Things like batteries and propane tanks went missing from cabins and homes, while more expensive items were left untouched. Decades passed without police getting any closer to finding the culprit who became known in town as the North Pond Hermit.
