Hey, what's up, y'all?

I'm so excited for today's podcast.

And more than excited, I want to say that I'm feeling a very special feeling in my heart

because today I'm having a conversation with Julia Denison, who is the executive editor of

Parents.com.

As all of you may know, Scott and I and our boys were the first same-sex couple, same-sex

family, if you will, on the cover of Parents Magazine.

And we are now just in a really great relationship with parents.

And Julia Dennison, being the executor of

parents.com had the idea of doing an amazing podcast called We Are Family and we're co-hosts.

She's my co-host. I'm her co-host. And we have some of the most amazing conversations

and more importantly like learning experiences with

people on that podcast. But what's really great and special is the two different stories

that she and I bring to the podcast as co-host. And I'm always not just enamored by her strength and her desire to bring parents and families amazing material.

I'm very just inspired by her ability to teach people without being judgmental.

And most importantly, her own story about how she co-parents with her ex

with their daughter ezzie and you're going to hear all about that conversation but more importantly

I want you to just listen with an open ear and an open mind because I know a lot of people out

there maybe in similar situations that we share

in this upcoming conversation. So sit back, relax, and enjoy because I would say in 2020,

she has been one of my biggest and most inspiring teachers, especially when it comes to being

a parent.
