I'm Matt Meoko and I'm joined by the Einsider, Ian Williams. and in obviously some difficult times some really

kind of groundbreaking times in our society with the NBA really taking stand the Milwaukee Bucks kind of driving

this that on the day we tape this the NBA

post season is on hold as players really exercise their rights to peacefully

protest and the latest incident of course Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. So boy, I tell you what, there is this

intersection of sports and society and we've seen it never as prominent as it is now.

Yeah, it's obviously difficult to see what's going on up there, you know, now with, you know,

extra protests that have been going on since the shooting

up there in Wisconsin. But, you know, I feel like the guys in the NBA, especially LeBron and all the

superstars that on on those teams.

You know, they're kind of fed up with everything that's going on.

They knew coming back that sports, that basketball was going to be a distraction

for the country, for the world,

to be able to kind of go back into normal society but you know these things

are still happening so they're putting their foot down and the NBA has a great

following so it just you know I applaud been for standing up for it but you know it's
