Adam and Margot's housewarming party is a success.

One couple linger after the other guests, revealing themselves to be wealthy neighbors.

As one nightcap leads to another, Adam and Margot suspect their new friends are duplicitous strangers.

So as always on our film review we are going to start with the likes and you know what, this film

was grand. Like it was grand. It was just fine. But I really liked the setting of this story. So when the film opens, there is this couple that are throwing a housewarming party in their like super fancy new home in the Hollywood Hills and you are like immediately

made aware of not only very dynamic but how they are perceived by the other people at the party so people are at the party like very

clearly do not want to be there and they're only there because they have to be

so there's a lot of kind of panning to different couples in the party where some of them are like,

how the fuck have these two afforded this house? Like seriously. And then other people being like,

oh my god, how long do we have to stay at this party? This is so grim. And Adam, who is part of the couple, is desperately trying to social climb and it is very uncomfortable watching him.

And he's trying to like lick arse to everybody at the party and he's very clearly giving his wife the absolute ick and you're watching it as the

viewer getting the absolute ick.

And of course you guessed it they afforded the house because it's a murder house obviously and
