ADHD experts broadcast. Thanks so much for joining us today. Today we're talking with Dr Mark Burton about ADHD and autism.

Dr Burton will be helping us distinguish between the social concerns

that accompany ADHD and those that are more specific to autism and further he'll be

offering some advice for cases where the two conditions overlap which is

actually quite common and advice for pursuing an accurate diagnosis and for the most effective

interventions for children struggling socially and emotionally with ADHD

and autism or both. Let me introduce Dr Burton to you. He has been a wonderful

expert for attitude and I think many of you have been a wonderful expert for Attitude and I think many of you have

probably heard him speak before I hope you have read his articles on Attitude mag

com. He Dr Mark Burton he's a developmental pediatrician he's's based in Pleasantville, New York, and he's the author of the Family ADHD Solution, which is a book that integrates mindfulness into evidence-based ADHD care.

He is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the New York Medical College on the faculty of the

Windward Teacher Training Institute on the editorial advisory board of both common sense media

and attitude magazine.
