6 Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. 7 I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I will give it to you for a possession. I am the Lord.’”

| 0:54.0 | We've been doing it most recently by looking at the life of Moses, primarily in the book of |

| 1:00.9 | And we're at a very interesting place here where Moses has just begun his journey into Egypt to help the people of Israel and to be their deliverer so to speak the one who confronts Pharaoh in that situation alone |
| 1:17.3 | is more intimidating than we often give it credit for it we don't think it through in terms of what this was really like. |
| 1:24.6 | Moses was an 80 year old man who had run from Egypt. He was in fear of his life |
| 1:32.0 | because of some things he had done while he was there. |
| 1:35.0 | And though God tells him that the people who sought his life have died and are no longer seeking |
| 1:41.0 | him, can you imagine the emotional struggle |
| 1:43.9 | it must have been for Moses still? |
| 1:46.4 | To go back to Egypt and to go toe to toe |
| 1:51.1 | with Pharaoh, the leader of the most mighty nation in the earth at that time. |
| 1:56.0 | It must have been an incredible struggle. |
| 1:58.8 | And we find in Exodus chapter 6, beginning in verse 6, God is speaking to Moses and he says, |
