Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another episode of the podcast

it's time for another one and here it is now

uh... when was it when was the last time i did an episode about slang because that's

uh... what this one's all about. It's the continuation of my

series on British slang and I started this ages ago. I started it yonks ago you might

say I'm just having a quick look on teacher loop.co.

UK here having a quick look was that a notification on my phone I think it was did

you hear that sort of ding sound? That probably means I just

received some sort of message or something. I'm saying that because I just got a new

phone. I'm going to put it on silent. But this is just a bit of side information.

I just got a new phone. I had for two years a Samsung Galaxy S3 that's what it's called.

And now I've moved on to an iPhone 5S.

Now I've had a few different phones, like over the years haven't I you've probably kept up with me have

you managed to keep up with all the different mobile phones I've had over the years I think

probably when I started doing Luke's English podcast I had what did I have? I had a Sony Ericsson, like a pretty basic

Sony Ericsson. I liked it because it was good for music. It was like a kind of

Sony Walkman phone. So it was really great for like listening to music and

it had lots of memory space. And then I got a an iPhone 3 which was pretty good it was like my first introduction to the world

of the smartphone and that was great for a while I'd got the iPhone from a friend and

then when that iPhone started to kind of die because they do

eventually don't they they go all slow and rubbish they just stopped responding
