Hey guys, Modern Craftsman podcast. It is just Nick and myself today. It's actually Wednesday

morning. Typically we're recording on Tuesday nights. We had some scheduling mishaps that

we're looking to work through. Nick's been dropping the ball lately.

Painting will keep them on for right now though. So we get into some listener questions and

then something that my wife sent me via Instagram, which was kind of a comical meme, but also

I do think has some truth to it. And I hope you guys like it. We get into some good stuff

as far as the listener question and kind of just basics of running your company. Nick

has some book suggestion for you. I know you guys a lot of times ask for what books

we're reading, which is kind of based around, you know, ensuring that you're creating

that scarcity and finding a customer that's a good fit for you. So hopefully you guys

like it. I know you have kind of these podcasts have resonated with you and it's just

Nick and myself. And next week we'll be back to our regularly scheduled program with

Let's see something nasty. So on Saturday or Sunday, Saturday, I went for a ride. There's

like a big group of guys. And can you hear me? Yeah, there's this one kid who's like

super fast, like basically a pro we were riding with. And I was behind him. And we just

started a trail and he took a weird line and I followed him. And it just like I went

to go around probably three foot stump. And then like the tree had somehow broken at

the top and was like so it was like a stump up and then leaning down to the ground. And

he took a weird line around it. And I followed him. And I just like, I don't know what happened.

I caught my foot peg or something and it like tossed my leg into the stump. And I wear
