Hey friends, welcome back. This summer, we are talking through ideas that are practical

and bite size that can help you pursue intentional intimacy in your marriage because we all know

that life comes at us and most of life is not knocking on our door saying let me help you build intimacy

in your marriage most of life is saying like fire alarms come and give me your attention and

often that brings us away from intimacy away from embodied sensations into states of stress

and busyness and exhaustion so my hope is that these little drops of

vision can help inspire you to take specific and very intentional steps towards intimacy that maybe

even become habits so that your intimate connection and your marriage becomes a space of valued

love and care that happens more naturally as you make it a habit

because habits like this are the ones that really help us stay afloat when the times get hard.

And so making a habit of intentional intimacy has become, for Wyatt and me at least, such,

a saving grace because life has thrown stuff at us

and we have navigated in large part because we had created very strong habits of intentionality

in our marriage towards leaning in towards connection so I'm sharing some of those with you this

summer maybe the top 10 the list could probably go on and on if we keep talking, but it's been fun to

revisit old memories and strategies that have worked for us to maintain and grow connection.

So today's is about kissing. So have fun with this. I kind of laughed when I was doing some of

my study for this one because some of the things cracked me up and I'm adding some of the

funnier benefits of kissing in here.

But today we're talking about kissing.

So as usual, I'd like to pause for a minute

and acknowledge God with us.
