July 2013, Oakland, California. A father stops at a supermarket to run inside to buy a couple of beverages.

He's only gone for minutes, but when he returned to the vehicle, his toddler daughter was missing.

What would follow was a decades-old cold case where there are no answers, except for witnesses

reporting an unidentified woman walking away with a little girl in her arms. This is Daphne's story.

Tonight with a kidnapped toddler in Oakland, one-year-old Daphne Webb is still missing tonight.

She was taken from her father's car yesterday while he ran into a store.

The baby was left with her grandmother who has dementia. Just in tonight, Cronfort has obtained a photograph of the missing child's father.

He is now behind bars. John Webb is accused of child endangerment. He is being held at Santa Rita County Jail on $100,000 bail.

Daphne would let it be described by her mother as being active and lovable, that she was a

good baby and definitely wasn't shy.

She could fall asleep on anyone's shoulder and she never turned away from strangers, eager

to take in everyone and everything the world had to offer.

Daphne loved the movie Cars too, and her favourite food was potato, in particular French fries.

Not much is known about Daphne's life, but for the several months before her disappearance.
