mirrors Hall of Fame here at Car Talk Plaza. Now since it's a new year and it is

that it's time to induct this year's inductee I guess what you do with an

inductee inductee yes into the smoke and mirrors Hall of Fame I suppose this

needs a little clarification. It does need us but I mean the smoke and mirrors Hall

of Fame is dedicated to those people Americans are otherwise any any

denomination any any religious fate any country of origin doesn't matter

anyone who has managed I guess to hoodwink would that be an appropriate

expression would wink to see see yeah obfuscate confuse you know all those

all those things yeah that's it yeah a large number of people and the

the larger the better and by the technique which is the most elegant I suppose

the better and anyone who satisfy those criteria becomes a possible nominee

well give me the envelope envelope okay all right now what is it this year's

inductee into the smoke and mirrors Hall of Fame is drum roll drum roll

Lee Iococca yeah no like it lay Iococca clearly does win this award because he

managed for a decade an entire decade to to rule a company that made one car

and everyone thought they made 10 no boy that's good but we were talking about

millions of people there was one year they only made 10 cars that was another

company I know you have some great mail to read because I have a couple of
