| 0:55.0 | I don't know what, like maybe you had a word for the year, maybe you had a verse for the year, maybe you had a whole vision board for the year or a list of goals. |
| 1:03.0 | In every area of your life, whatever it may be, I believe that it's important at this midpoint of the year for us to reset. |
| 1:12.0 | And I replayed the episode I did last week to cover the spiritual style because today I'm going to be talking more so about practical things, but I wanted to replay that story of Moses and the episode we talked about getting back to our intended purpose because that's a part of a reset as well. |
| 1:30.0 | Getting back to your intended purpose, getting back to who and what God created you to be in this world. |
| 1:36.0 | But here, I want to talk about a reset in a state where we can just claim our mind back, claim our mental health back, claim our piece of mind back. |
| 1:45.0 | When we look up the word reset, it means to move something back to its original place or position. |
| 1:52.0 | And what I thought was also interesting about the definition was that if something is broken, when to reset means to put it in the correct position for healing. |
| 2:04.0 | And I know for me personally, the reason why I decided to take a mid year reset is I needed to be put back in a position for healing. |
| 2:13.0 | And not to say that anything was broken, but I've been pretty frank how this year has really just been a lot for me. Just a lot of things have happened in my family and stuff like that. |
| 2:23.0 | And so for me, getting back this reset is getting back to a place where I'm reclaiming my life. |
| 2:29.0 | I'm reclaiming my or resetting my piece of mind, my day today, the way in which I carry out the purpose and the vision that God has given me because I feel like life has kind of pulled me in different directions. |
| 2:43.0 | And I started experiencing these symptoms and we're going to call these symptoms that you need a reset because I believe that these are things that are across the board. |
| 2:52.0 | So I started experiencing things like just heaviness and tension in my shoulders. I was getting a lot of migraines and headaches. I'm the type of person where stress triggers migraines for me. |
| 3:05.0 | I was getting a lot of headaches. I would find myself getting frustrated really easily. My patients, I'm already not that patient of a person, but my patients was a lot more thin. |
| 3:17.0 | And my mind just felt foggy and cloudy and I didn't like feeling like that. It's like how you feel when you just eat garbage for a long period of time. |
