You know, we usually do a Christmas episode and I host it, but we didn't do that this year.

But now Rachel and I are on a kind of late holiday.

And we're at my parents' house in Indianapolis.

And so I decided to give her the week off like I typically do now on our late holiday.

And I am interviewing my dad

former IBEW local 481 president and electrician of 37 years and we're going to talk about

some of the dangers of one of the most powerful forces on Earth, electricity.

You know, I'm surprised it took this long for us to have you on the podcast, especially.

Well, you know, they always say you save the best to last.

Yeah, that's right.

That's right.

Rachel and my dad are like as thick as thieves.

And my dad has heard us through the podcast hundreds of times put up with it in his house.

And even when we're on vacation, because, you know, we've got to do it every week.

So it's a pretty common theme in our life.

Yeah, I've been run out of the house many a time in Colorado.

Yes, he's been very kind to the, it's not easy for this guy to be quiet for, you know,

an hour or so on end or more to do a podcast. So we really thank him.
