Summary

Hello and welcome to episode 233 of The Mindful Kind podcast.

In this episode, I've shared five self-care activities I've been using lately to feel supported and process challenging emotions. These self-care activities include:

  • Reading a non-fiction book for 30 minutes and taking notes
  • Learning sign language
  • Personal thinking time
  • Being self-compassionate and focusing on personal growth
  • Finding healthy ways to process (and express) emotions

Thank you so much for listening and I hope you have a wonderful week, Mindful Kind.

1:35.8

a few new ways to help myself feel supported. It's kind of like when you catch a cold,

1:40.9

you might drink more orange juice to get vitamin C and take a few days off

1:45.3

work to rest and take naps during the day. You step up your physical self-care to look after

1:53.0

your physical health. I feel like I've been stepping up my emotional self-care to look after my

emotional health. Okay, so self-care activity number one is reading a non-fiction book for 30 minutes each day

and taking notes.
