Jason, what is a fandom or hobby that you never thought that you'd be into growing up that you are now a fan of?

I like this question a lot. I've been thinking about it.

I, my initial thought was I was going to say

role-playing games was like D&D. Yep. But the fact is that when I was a teenager, I don't know, I mean, maybe slightly preteen, like when I was like 11, 12, 13,

I was obsessed know the monster

and I was you know the monster manual and the DM guide and the player's handbook and all of that

and I never played Dungeons and Dragons.

Never, never.

I mean, I lived in a rural area.

There weren't enough kids who were interested

to get a game together.

There wasn't a knowledgeable person around.

And so it just never happened. Because it's hard to get to people's houses and things like that.

But and I play it now but I was interested in then so even though I have only actually played D andD like in the last five years, it was actually something I probably would have thought was something I would eventually do at least when I was 12.

My answer is actually going to be beer. That's my answer is never particularly interested in drinking, in alcohol of any kind as a as a teenager or even in my early 20s and it was only my late 20s that I tasted a beer that was not disgusting and that led me down a path that means that now yeah I like to have different kinds of beer and and like to go to micro breweries when I'm in different towns and and stuff like that.

So I would say that one is probably the most surprising to me because that was not a thing that I was remotely

interested in until I was in my late 20s.
