You are from Philadelphia.

Well, yeah, the Philadelphia area, born in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, they were

Marion but raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Went to college in downtown Philadelphia.

What was that like? I went to college very close to home so I didn't get that big, you know, far away from home thing.

I spent a long, long time in college, nearly seven years as an undergrad and despite the fact that when I

did eventually graduate, I did graduate Magna Cum Laude so...

Yeah, because you're a pretty smart guy guy so I wouldn't think it would be like

academic deficiency now I just kept changing my major I started in environmental engineering and

science and then with minors in organic chemistry, biochemistry, went to a school

called Drexel that had a co-op program where they would place you in jobs that were

related to what you were studying and I looked around and I saw

the guys that were my superiors and I said do I want to work 15 years after college to get to have

his job and the answer was no.

So I switched ultimately several times but

finished a degree in international business and marketing. And where did you take

that? Well all along all during school I worked in restaurants to supplement my earnings, well, to have some earnings rather I should say, but worked in restaurants the whole time and in the last gig which lasted quite a few years a funky little restaurant downtown Philadelphia called the nave of hearts

got pretty involved with their wine program there and that's when I really got interested in wine and the guy who
