So, how long did it take the jury to deliberate in what was the verdict?

The verdict was guilty.

The jury only deliberated a couple of hours.

They went in.

They came out later that same afternoon.

And the city was very overwrought by this point.

There had been many demonstrations at the trial.

There were huge crowds outside the courthouse.

There was a lot of anger and anxiety and acting out.
