Was I the only one literally afraid to watch the news yesterday? I couldn't watch any news during the day, during the voting.

I was waiting until last night for the results to see how it turns out you know I love the Democrats but you also know I'm not a man with a lot of faith Democrats have been too good at losing from the front but they took the house they the Democrats have taken control of the House of Representatives.

What does this mean? Well, I guess it means different things to a lot of people. There is,

yeah, there's going to be a change.

I mean, the Democrats now have subpoena will, well, come January,

assuming the Republicans don't change all the rules between now and January.

Democrats will have subpoena powers.

Democrats will be in charge of numerous congressional groups and boards.

And they can get things done.

They can stop things.

They can stop the attack that McConnell wanted to put on Social Security and Medicare and these insane tax

cuts and all of that. Now, there's some problems. They're going to get blamed. The Democrats,

starting today, will be blamed for everything that's wrong with the country and

The economy which may slow down which we've already seen problems with these tariffs and international trade

This will be blamed on the Democrats

I worked with an economist I did a show and there was a woman on the panel who was an economist, and she talked about how government policies regarding the economy don't take effect right away. There's usually a lag of a couple of years between something being done and the effect. So some of

Trump's protectionist policies, did I say protectionist policy? I mean some of Trump's ridiculous

protectionist policies will slow down the economy. We already see that Ford lost a billion

dollars. And there's talks about

BMW making adjustments. You know, BMW makes all their SUVs in South Carolina. Now, that may

change because of Trump's tariffs. A lot of that production may go to China. Imagine that.
