Summary

Last weekend I got to spend 4 days with friends from high school. We had not all been together for any length of time in 24 years. It was magic. A few nights after I returned, I attended a happy hour with a bunch of preschool moms from Vinnie’s class. Also, magic. These two events, while very different, had a lot of similarities. This got me thinking about the value of friendships and how we can find them and fuel them. Listen in to hear me share the 3 C’s of friendship: Connection Camaraderie Curiosity I address each C and dive into how you can use it to deepen the friendships in your life. 0:52.6	But I'm sure my Mother's Day will have gone great, right? Because the surest way to have a great day is to have really high hopes.
0:59.7	I'm totally being sarcastic. I feel like any day that you have really high hopes for it being especially
1:04.0	magical, that's the day that like everything falls apart and it blows up. So I'm sure there will be
1:08.8	a magical moment in my Mother's Day, but it probably won't be the
1:11.9	whole day. And I'm sure you can all relate to that, where you're like, oh, I'm just going to make it all
1:15.8	perfect by doing these few things. And then like none of those things will go as according to your plan.
1:20.4	So I hope no matter what happened for Mother's Day that you got some special time that was just for
1:25.4	you, because I think we're all in agreement that perhaps the best Mother's Day gift would just be time alone, time without kids,
1:30.9	husbands, families, any of that stuff, any of that nonsense.
1:34.2	Like just take that out of the equation and make it a day about you.
