Cafe Standards here at Car Talk Plaza. That's right, that's right. As you may know,

the administration and the auto, that's the government administration and the automotive industry,

I still to this day debating the issue of cafe standards, which in some circle stands for

corporate average fuel economy. Get it? C-A-F-E corporate average fuel economy.

Oh, they're federally mandated miles per gallon for those who speak colloquially.

Yeah, but here at Car Talk Plaza, we try to simplify things so that my brother even can understand.

C-A-F-E standards are what? C-A-F-E standards. That's right, and my brother being the hard working

diligent type that I am has been spending the entire summer and Harvard Square sampling the

cafes with Paul Mercky of Mercky Research to determine where the coffee is really pissed.

How's the work going, Horace? Well, I tell you, I have to say that the cafe Paradiso absolutely

has the best, really best cappuccino in the entire Boston area. No, and I have to also say that

the quality is consistent. They have about four or five stores. You go to the cafe Paradiso

and you are guaranteed. So you're on the take a what from these guys? I mean, area? They pay me

a hundred and fifty dollars a week just to drink cappuccino all day long. And I might say to sit

outside and just look pretty. Look good. That's why I'm working on women. There are more women

who come into that cafe Paradiso just because I'm sitting there. They think, come by and say,

hi, big boy. Could you get out of the chair so might be my boyfriend?

Well, anyway, one, we'll take a call. If you don't mind, you're ready? Fine.
