Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot brought to you by Red Moon role play.

This week we're playing Ryutama, a fantasy RPG that was designed in Japan and translated into English by our friends at Kodadama Heavy publishing.

I've said it before in other places, but I am fascinated by the culture around tabletop role-playing

games that evolved in Japan.

And I'm delighted whenever we get the opportunity to play something designed there.

Rio Tama takes the adventure journey concepts in D and D and

and mixes it with pastoral slice of life fiction that you might find in a studio

jibly film.

The system has a lot of fresh concepts, including a built-in GM PC system that gives the GM an

avatar that levels up alongside the characters and the party.

I love a lot about the way fiction is crafted in this game and I get into that in more detail in the episode itself, but it suffice to say that I am a fan of this game.

Heroes, a woman with Hollow Eyesze, is still funding on Kickstarter.

And thanks to you, we managed to hit our character art stretch goal.

The next big hurdle I'm looking to overcome before funding ends next week

is our $13,000 stretch goal. If we get to that, we'll be able to pay everyone
