Summary

Murph shares his recent trip to Vienna, Austria, where he represented Libertas International at the United Nations Trafficking in Persons Symposium. While the conference highlighted the global awareness surrounding human trafficking, it also exposed the frustration felt by those on the front lines — too much talk, and far too little action. Tyler and Murph reflect honestly on the gaps between policy, promises, and real-world results.

The heart of this episode belongs to the survivors. Tyler shares deeply personal stories of individuals who endured unimaginable trauma yet refused to let their past define their future. You’ll hear how choice, connection, and community support play a critical role in long-term healing, and why rescue is only the beginning of the journey.

January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

Awareness leads to prevention. Prevention saves lives.

Like these people, they're just predators or they just, they're just some kind of, like I always use the example because I'm from Wyoming of a wolf. A wolf has some kind of sense. When it looks at a pack of bison, it knows the bison that are deformed. It knows the bison that maybe is missing a parent. It knows the bison that's walking a little differently than the rest. They just know. They know who is vulnerable and who is weak and that's who they target. And predators are the same way. And they just know. I don't understand them. They just know who is weak and they will, then they're patient. And this guy was just patient, patient, patient, wait until his girl turned 12. She was Catholic, said, hey, I'm going to give you a special confirmation. The only special Catholics get me raped her.
