So, yeah, today we'll do something a little controversial.

Gabor had the idea of looking at the scientific side of the what is male and what is female.

We won't get too caught up to the politics, but I guess it might come up.

And I thought if people want to ask about other things that are inherently controversial in nature,

you know, maybe we could answer with our thoughts on such other things.

So especially themed session, I think, would be fair to say.

So I guess, Gabor, I let you take it away because you've pulled together some of the biological

realities around this male-female conundrum.

So why I thought actually that this is an

interesting topic is precisely because it's absolutely not black and white. I think starting last

week approximately, I saw a lot of comments on different social media and among friends and everybody has been discussing this thing of who should be competing in women's sports regardless of genetics and what sexuality they seem to have.

And I thought that it would be interesting to discuss how it actually works.

And to be honest, I also had to do my fair share of updating,

because as curious as it seems, but there has been a lot of additions to our understanding recently.

I mean, recently I studied this at university in the early and mid-90s.

So a few discoveries actually date back to 1990 and the early 90s, a few key discoveries. So what we know now is quite different to what we

knew like 40 years ago. And why is that? I will try to show that. So why the sudden interest?

And as you can imagine, suddenly we have millions of, millions of experts sharing

their thoughts on what certain individual looks like and others from different sports events.

And if they should be banned, they should be kept in because of inclusion policies and whatever.
