narcissistic parent, controlling parent, childhood emotional neglect, trauma healing
Dr. Amanda Tambuyser was forced to navigate a childhood with an angry, controlling, and narcissistic father. The coping mechanisms Amanda developed during childhood would impact her life and behaviours for many years to come. Amanda found herself becoming a people pleaser, and her behavior became highly dysregulated at times. These experiences significantly diminished Amanda’s ability to cope with daily life.
After years searching how to heal from her own childhood trauma, Amanda hit on a unique approach to healing that combines therapeutic methods with coaching. This holistic approach now helps Amanda’s clients not only address past traumas but also focus on the present and future, providing a more comprehensive path to healing.
Amanda's work primarily focuses on helping women who, like her, struggle with feelings of doubt and fear. Many of these women feel constantly judged and have lost touch with their true selves. Join me in hearing Amanda's inspiring story and learn more about her transformative approach to healing.
