We are in our Cold K series, and we're going strong because we've got like several on deck.

This series is going to probably carry us, what, through end of March, maybe April?

Yeah, we are way ahead right now, which is good for us.

I've personally just been slammed.

And so what weekend is this President's Day weekend?

Yeah, so we're trying to cram what we can into the long weekend while we're all for it to try to stay ahead.

So yeah, we are in the middle of the case closed series about cold cases that were eventually solved.

So if you're one of those people who likes a resolution, this series is for you.

So we're going to go ahead and jump in to

tonight's story. And this one doesn't stay cold for as long as some of the ones we've talked about,

but it does have a big impact. So we are going to be talking about Leanne Tiernan. She was born

on September 27, 1984, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England to Michael Tiernan and Sharon Hawkehead.

Leanne was the youngest of two girls, and her older sister was Michelle. Her parents did separate,

but they were a very close-knit family. They all spent a lot

of time together and got along really well. And Leanne was described as a very happy and content child.

She attended West Leeds High School and lived with her mother and sister in the close-knit town.

On November 26, 2000, Leanne and her 15-year-old friend, Sarah Whitehouse,

had gone Christmas shopping in Leeds City Center and taken a bus home, which arrived about 4.30.

It was just your typical Sunday. The girls were supposed to be home by five. She had gone to church with her grandmother
